Petit post sur un projet qui nous intéresse beaucoup ici à Hidden Wood, il s'agit des Californiens de Hydrodynamica, des fans inconditionnels du brillant shaper/ surfer excentrique Bob Simmons (décédé en 1954).
Le projet débute il y a 30 ans quand John Elwell un ami et historien de Bob Simmons décida de lui rendre hommage en poursuivant des études sur son travail et sa vie. John Elwell rencontra alors Richard Kenvin en 2002 et décidèrent ensemble de pousser le projet plus loin sous le nom Hydrodynamica, depuis s'en suis une série de nombreuses expérimentations avec plusieurs collaborateurs différents comme Scott Sullivan,Andrew Kidman, Cher Pendarvis ou encore le jeune surfer/shaper stylé Tyller Warren.

a little post about a project than we enjoy a lot here at Hidden Wood. Hydrodinamica is a project dedicated to exploring and acknowledging the work of Bob Simmons, a brilliant and eccentric California surfer who died while surfing at Windansea Beach in San Diego in 1954.
The Hydrodynamica Project really began over 30 years ago when Simmons’ friend and historian John Elwell launched a quest to honor the memory of his friend.
In 2002 Richard Kenvin met Elwell while looking into the root. Since that time Kenvin and other project collaborators including Ryan Field, Scott Sullivan, Andrew Kidman,Cher Pendarvis and young shaper surfer like the stylish Tyler Warren.
